I was brought in Beamly, a marketing & social media consultancy specialized into social content optimization after it was acquired by the luxury group Coty to turn what was more of an asset production team into a creative department working almost exclusively for Coty. This transition consisted in training the existing team members, collaborating with copywriters to create visual content for the beauty brands social channels and online presence, as well as art directing designs, photoshoots and video content.
The main challenge was to make the small existing design team into a proper Creative team, capable of answering to some luxury & beauty brands’ briefs. A long process of expertise and brands analysis started in relation with zeitgeist aesthetics, alongside some style tests and researches in the new in-house photo studio.
